Pretend this is a creative title

Hey, I have no creative title for this update so you will just have to use your imagination! The kids have been really busy at school with CRCT testing - no stress but you have to pass the test to go to the next grade! Besides that we have been enjoying the nice weather by trying to inhale as much pollen as possible daily(we disguse it as playing outside). I'm still keeping a little girl a couple days a week and it seems to be working out weel. Her mom's job is very flexible so if we have a Dr's appt or something I just drop her off for a little while. Brian is enjoying softball season and Hope is about to take a break from tumbling class because she is getting her tonsils out on Friday. She's a little scared because she's never had surgery and doesn't do all the "Dr Stuff" that Dillon does all the time. Hopefully it will go very well. Keep her in your prayers - she gets anxious easily.

...maybe for 3 years....

Well, Dillon has decided that if God could make it not rain for 3 years b/c the prophet Elijah prayed that he will also pray for that end. After much consideration (he decided he wanted to ski in lakes with water in them and also liked to have water to drink), he has narrowed his prayers down to just not rain this week. So far no rain for us this week which is making Spring Break much nicer and "Springier". I may not have to be comitted to an institution after all!! yay! the pics are of flipping on the trampoline

continuation of life...

Happy Late Easter!!! We had a great Easter weekend and are gearing up for a rainy Spring Break this week! Other than that everything is pretty much the same for our family. We do the same things.........most of the time. Brian and I went to Winterfest with our youth group and had a good time, it's been a number of years since I had been as a youth! Of course the picture was just the 2nd day so I still look alive! Hope had her best friend spend the night Friday night, her cousin tonight and tues, wed and Thursday we are hosting 3 boys from the Children of the World choir that is performing at our church this week. Oh, and in the spare time Bailey will be with us 2 days while her mom's at work and I'll be keeping a 2 yr old also! I will then be committed into an institution!! Hopefully it will all go smoothly- and not rain all week!!!

Happy Valentines Day

Hey, I don't have any adorable pics of V-day. My kids went to school scared that they would get a Valentine from someone who liked them, YUCK! I am not that opposed to cards but I am a little older. Anyway, not much happening here - we have been going to school(except the strep throat days), went to the circus to celebrate with other heart patients and to a hockey game. Plus, Hope goes to tumbling, Dillon karate and Brian plays basketball and I play get everyone everywhere they need to go! The kids have a 4 day break starting tomorrow so hopefully it will be nice weather and a good break - no flu!!!!!
P.S. Hope's wish did not come true - she got a box of chocolates from a boy who likes her.oh well.

Happy 2008!

Christmas and New Years have come and gone, they were pretty good for our family. Dillon and Hope did a great job in our church's kid's musical - I was very surprised to see Dillon up there acting with a major part, he's always been so shy! Although I am still not feeling back to normal I am getting better, that's very good news(a diagnoses would be nice though). On the not as great side, I was "let go" from my job because of my absences so I am not sure what I am going to do right now. The kids are back in school, karate and tumbling and Brian is back at work and playing church league basketball. So, back to regular life.

Way behind....but I have a good excuse

Well, it's only the middle of December. I haven't missed too much time have I? Unfortunately I have been struggling with illness(unknown) since the end of October so I haven't done much of anything. So, quick update, Halloween came and went....so did Thanksgiving...Dillon earned his orange belt in karate and now it's almost Christmas. Hopefully they will figure out how to fix me soon!

dillon's surgery

Dillon had his tonsils and adnoids out yesterday at the children's hospital. Everything went really well so hopefully our days of strep throat will be reduced. School is going well for both of them and just ok for me! Dillon got his yellow belt in karate and Hope has been cheering for little football teams, so we have very little spare time! I can't believe it's already October!
