not much

Well, we are into our 4th week of school now and it is going ok. I have been subbing alot and the kids are semi-happy in their classes. I do wonder where we got Hope from though...if you knew me when I was little you know this picture is not a reflection of me!!

Back to school

Well it has happened...school has started. It was pretty sad to think that this is Dillon's last year in elementary school........sob.

Trip to Great-Grandma's

We went on Friday to visit with my grandma before school started back. It was a good trip and the kids got to spend time with their Great-Grandma and to play at my "old playground", the infamous creek!! I was thankful we got to spend that time with her.

Summer's over?!?!

It's hard to believe but school starts back on Monday, August 3rd. This feels like it has been an incredibly short summer (possibly because it was less than 2 months!) but I think it will be good for them to see other kids. They are getting a little tired of each other! On Friday we are going to take them to White Water since we never had a vacation this summer. I haven't been in about 40 pounds so it will certainly be interesting but the kids love the water so much I am sure they will have a blast!! By next week I will be posting back to school pics (if Dillon isn't too old in 5th grade) , I remember taking his 1st day of kindergarten pictures, how sad. Hopefully we will get to go visit Great-grandma this week also. Wish me luck getting every adjusted to waking up at 6:30am next week(esp. Hope!)!!!

Summer is here..

School's out!

Random late spring stuff....

Well, let's see: Hope finished up with tennis(she looked like a tennis barbie doll, so cute!), we picked fresh strawberries, a fun father and daughter dance, my nephew's 1st birthday, I had surgery and now I am doing much better and the kids are in the last week of school!! We are ready for birthdays, swimming and all the summer things that will go by entirely too fast!
