We enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the lake with extended family. It's a blessing to have such wonderful family and to enjoy each other's company!

Just plodding on..
Obviously I have not been on here in a long time as we have just tried to absorb and figure out how to keep going after Jordan's death. November 6th still causes nightmares and we have just been pretty short on joy or small talk since them. Thanksgiving with all my family at my grandma's house was nice, Christmas with me sick and us kinda snowed in was not that great. yes, I know it should have been great simply because it was Jesus' birthday but it just wasn't, sorry. Anyway, I know ya'll read this for a few pictures and snippets of life not to be my personal therapist so here are a few pictures of our recent "blizzard"!

Almost Fall
Fall is getting here slowly but surely! Someone has been sick or getting stitches every week since school started. We did have a fun Labor Day though so here's a little video of our time at the lake.

Here comes the sun
**Excuse all spelling and grammatical errors, my brain is tired.***Well, here is your quarterly(sorry) update. In case you didn't notice it finally stopped raining so the grass is turning green, Brian and Hope are turning tan and Dillon and I are turning "frecklely". The kids have been busy with CRCT testing at school and Dillon took the last three days of the test with strep throat. I was going to say he had finally been feeling better after getting ride of an almost permanant sinus infection and vitamin D defieciency, but I would have spoken too soon! Anyway, we have the usual going on but did enjoy a beautiful Easter (except for the stomach bug I got that night). Looking forward to only 5 more weeks of school before summer and maybe even less before the arrival of my new nephew. Also we are very thankful that Brian's nephew made it back safely from his dployment in Afgahnistan. Maybe I will have time to write more this summer..
