When I grow up.....

My children have been trying to decide what they want to be when they grow up and have narrowed it down somewhat! Dillon has it narrowed down to 3 choices: a pediatric cardiologist OR a research scientist OR a robotics engineer. Hope also has it narrowed down but there is no OR in her's. Hope is going to be: a mommy AND a teacher AND a vet AND a singer AND an actress AND a missionary. It's going to be a busy life!

Adorable babies

Here are pictures of Weston & Nina's baby, Clayton, who was born Thursday. He is so itty bitty, just 5 lbs and something! Also, a picture of my adorable roly poly nephew, Charles Grady. He is 2 1/2 months and a bit more than 5 lbs! They grow fast, my baby boy is 67 pounds now!!

Back to School

We offically are back to school!! Everyone was excited to start school on Friday especially Dillon because he has a brand new teacher who has never taught before( he kindly told me he finally had a teacher who was younger than me.)! Dillon knows pretty much his whole class and Hope's got 2 friends in her class so they are both good to go! Dillon wasn't really into the back to school pictures at 7 am but we did our best!

How could I forget?!?!!!

I don't know how I could have forgotten in the previous blog to mention Dillon's new best friend and "roommate"! His name is Spikes and he's a chinese water dragon. He worked to raise enough money to buy him and they are good friends. I am not really that close with the lizard!

wow, summer was quick!

As you can see I have hardly posted anything this summer, so here's the recap! We went on vacation at the end of June to Destin with Brian's family and we have just spent the other days playing with friends , going to cheer camp and trying to stay cool!! School starts next week!

Birthday Party!!!

Dillon and Hope had their Birthday Party on Saturday. It was a water party at a "Jumpy Place" and they had a blast! Here are a few pictures of the fun!

School's out!!!!!!

It's offically summer at our house! School was out on Friday and we were ready. They both received awards at the awards assembly and did very well on their CRCT tests. Dillon also tested for and received his green belt in karate on Saturday. Saturday was our 11 year anniversary also! Today is Dillon's 9th Birthday - it has gone by quickly(that must mean I am getting old). Since it's summer now, we started swim lessons today and they are excited to be working on diving after a quick review of all 6 strokes they know. I had better go apply more sunscreen to them - after all, I am still an Oliver at heart!!!
